Who We Are

St. Vincent de Paul Place is a welcoming community hub grounded in compassion, dignity, and respect for every person. We meet people where they are and walk alongside individuals and families as they navigate hunger, housing instability, health challenges, and other barriers to stability. Through nutritious meals, food pantry access, care and advocacy services, and strong community partnerships, we create a space of safety, belonging, and hope. Guided by equity and human connection, St. Vincent de Paul Place is a place where people are seen, valued, and supported as they work toward a more stable and hopeful future.

What We Do

Established in 1979 to address hunger and hardship in the Norwich community, St. Vincent de Paul Place began as a meal program and has grown into a vital community hub offering nutritious meals, a food pantry, and comprehensive Care and Advocacy services. Guided by a people centered approach and a commitment to meeting individuals where they are, the organization partners with healthcare providers, social service agencies, and community organizations to support individuals and families facing food insecurity, homelessness, and other barriers to stability. Through the dedication of staff, volunteers, and donors, St. Vincent de Paul Place continues to be a place of welcome, support, and hope for all who enter its doors.
